With word from Andrea Mitchell of the staging of Obama’s appearances, it signals perhaps a small seperation in the love fest liberal MSM has for the Dem candidate. For soem reason, MSNBC has not posted Mitchell’s comments. This from Ed Morrissey at HotAir:

However, the larger point Mitchell makes is that Obama is being “handled” to a high degree, and that the campaign is keeping him as far away from the press as possible. They’re only allowing for controlled events and images to appear, which goes against the entire idea of “New Politics” and transparency — and it also strongly suggests that the campaign can’t trust Obama to handle himself. Mitchell raises a very serious point with her report, and MS-NBC’s sudden reluctance to republish it underscores their own lack of objectivity in this campaign

There’s a reason for this. He’s unable to handle the questions. This “artful” Cliff’s Notes” presentation of Obama’s comments in Jordan from Michelle Malkin:

1. “Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.”

2. As commander-in-chief, er, rather, when I’m commander-in-chief…

3. The surge I opposed is working.

4. The architect of the surge, Gen. David Petraeus, is going to waste money on electricity projects, so I must be there to stop him.

5. “Ummmmmm.”

6. Now, stop asking me questions and take pictures.

And 7. “Israel is a strong friend of Israel.” (I missed this one, but commenter Jim M. and other readers report that Obama actually said this. Gaffe-tastic!)

The Tour de Farce continues…

He really didnt say that did he?

“NOW STOP ASKING QUESTIONS AND TAKE PICTURES”??

Talk about a gaffe.
