A Full Airing of the Issues: The Big Three

Taxes, our defense, and judges. It is here where John McCain and Sarah Palin clearly distinguish themselves from democrats. And it is these issues which should be advanced during the last week.

1. Taxes equals the economy. The economy equals taxes. McCain proposes making the Bush tax cuts permanent. Obama wants to “spread the wealth” via your taxes. Democrats caused the Fannie and Freddie collapse. John McCain sounded the alarm well before. Dems used it for a political slush fund and for its patrons such as ACORN.

Our defense. Barney Frank said yesterday he wants to cut the defense budget by 25%. Obama opposed the war, the surge, suggested invading Pakistan and attempted to subvert negotiations with Iraq over our withdraw. McCain stood alone on the surge and was right. We’ve won and defeated Al Queada in Iraq behind republican leadership. Joe Biden propsed partitioning Iraq.

Judges: McCain approves of John Roberts but has been disappointingly lukewarm to Sam Alito. Still, its likely that McCain will appoint those whom will strictly apply the Constitution. There is nothing in Obama’s past that indicates he will appoint nothing other than activist judges who have demonstrative resumes which include rulings which have proved to be legislating from the bench.
