Did John Cornyn jump too soom to endorse Charlie Crist?

Many think so.

Crist is an estanblishment candidate from the John McCain mold and does not have the kind of support throughout the state that many assume. Marco Rubio is a rising GOP star. Cornyn needed to stay out of it.

UPDATE: Well, yeah. Mike Huckabee and Jeb Bush, Jr, have endorsed Rubio.
