Former Hewlett-Packard CEO and McCain supporter, Fiorina would bring some badly needed star power for the GOP in a senate race. I hope that her health is ok as she underwent treatment for breast cancer last year. Still an accomplished candidate taking on the archaic feminism of Barbara Boxer will be welcome. I hope she’s OK and will jump in the race.

Fiorina’s emmergence as a potential candidate demonstrate just how behind the GOP is in recruiting. It seems easier to get them for open seats like in Florida (Crist and Rubio) and in Ohio (Portman) But to my knowledge, Fiorina is the only high powered GOP figure willing to take on a sitting Democrat.
