Politics, Education, Culture, and oh....the Mets. A former athletic trainer for the NY Mets, the writer still follows his team while offering his own unique outlook on politics. A life long GOP conservative, this high school teacher has departed from his party roots and takes issue with the Florida GOP's legislative agenda on education. Recent favorite topics involve Florida's controversial education reform bill SB 6, local efforts to defeat Allen Boyd (D) FLA 2nd and the Florida Senate race.

Thanks, Luis. I know you've read my blog for some time and I'm thrilled to know another teacher/coach reads my blog. Two-a-days start Monday.
I stop by every few days and read your stuff, and was floored by the amt of Met content suddenly. I like it, but I also stop by to read your political commentary as well. Some I agree with and some I do not, but I find it always well reasoned and earnest. Those who drifted away are the worse for doing so. Keep up the good work and enjoy the remnants of the summer. I too teach/coach and have little time left
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('24846','Luis Venitucci','I stop by every few days and read your stuff, and was floored by the amt of Met content suddenly.
